I’m getting really excited for the two books I’m working on. I plan to send them to agents and publishers starting January 2017. I’m going through editing the books, while I already have to brand new book ideas I plan to work on soon as well. The ideas just keep on coming, hopefully for a long time. 

I know I’ve been really far and few with my blog post, so I’m going to try to post every day in November. Yes I know I’ve missed two days already, but here we go. 

Today, I’ve been thinking about money and being stressed about it. I understand there are many people out there stressed over money and I am one of them as well. Money has been extremely tight for me and I hate it. 

On the other hand, I have two new books I’m about to start editing that I am very happy with and proud of! So look out for those! 

​I love all of my books so far (especially the ones Shanilee illustrated) but I am also currently working on a big project. I am going to work very hard on creating a book that I plan to send to agents and publishers at the start of the new year. I plan on writing it with a Dr. Seuss-esk feel to it. I’m very excited about this project and will release details the further along things go. Right now I have a very rough draft of the story, no title. 

I am currently working on a book that I intend to write and illustrate in a Dr. Seuss esk fashion. I will submit this book to agents and publishers as soon as the new year hits. Stay tuned for updates. 

After some life issues caused me to not feel up to writting great books, I feel great again. I fell into a depressed state and did not want to write since I put my emotions into books. I am currently feeling confident again and have started up again on my next book “The Lonely Cloud.”

Tough times are never fun. Whether you’re going through them alone, with a significant other or your entire family is dealing with them.
Trying to be a children’s book author has been a huge channel in itself. That’s not even including all the other stress and issues I’m facing day after day. Always remember that you can make it through. Put your head down, don’t let anything trip you up or distract you, and movie forward.

Here’s a teaser for my next book
The Little Cloud.
It’s about a cloud who tries to get rays from the Sun to grow big and strong like his brothers. Whatever he does, he never gets any rays though. Stato becomes very angry like in this illustration. What happens next? You’ll have to wait and see.
